Alveoli, would you be so kind to ensure that your timeline is correct? Someone had a question regarding how your scan date and the date you mailed in your documents could be the same (12/28).

Yes I had it corrected already and added the NVC case completion date as well.

Quick update to this group: Just received my cc today 02/04. Scan date 12/29. So get ready January folks..

Case completed today! saw the 3rd NA and called NVC to confirm.

A lady confirmed, that the case got completed today February 4!.

I am very happy! BTW my scan date was December 28.

Should I put my case number on the envelop I'm sending to nvc? did anybody do that? I mean the outside of the envelop where the stamps are going to go. thanks

During the petition stage, I read on the USCIS website's "General Tips on Assembling Applications for Mailing" page.

Would those tips still be helpful during the NVC stage? Anyone do any of these steps when submitting AOS and IV packets to NVC?

In preparing your packet, please take note of the following:

• Do not use binders or folders that cannot be easily disassembled.
• Use ACCO fasteners to hold together thick or bulky applications or petitions. Two-hole punching the top of the material for easy placement in the file is appreciated.
• The use of tabs assist in locating items listed as attachments. The tabs should be placed on the bottom and not the side for ease in filing.
• Avoid using heavy-duty staples; instead use ACCO fasteners or heavy clips.
• Avoid submitting originals unless specifically required. Avoid submitting oversized documentation when possible.
