Yes that's right, it is my 2nd scan date, but I thought the clock "restarts" with every scan date so I didn't realize this even made a difference! I apologize if I misled anyone, as this was unintentional, but it's absolutely my 2nd scan date, you're right.

Oh of course you didn't misled . I just know my VJ audience and people will only read Scan Date 1/4 CC 2/1 and not see your timeline. No harm no foul.

LOL I hear ya. They need to send me a salary I swear. If they would just give me the calendar to schedule. Seems they are overwhelmed. Just like we conduct this thread. We could all do this. Imagine.

I for one never will understand why aren't IR1/CR1 category privy to go to the embassy calendar and schedule themselves once Case Complete.

Like how we do on the portal Case Complete unlocks the schedule and you go for it.

Taking NVC out the loop letting more hands on deck to do what they need to do Review so we get Case Complete.

Did you guys pay your AOS fee at the same time with your IV fee? or did you pay the AOS first and the the IV another week later? They are telling me to wait a week before the IV fee is unlock. I already did the AOS fee. Was I suppose to have both at once. And If I'm clear, it is a better idea to wait for both to send the two packages together in a mailing envelop and that is what I want to be but I kind thought they will be unlocked together.

LMAO....too much like right and too much logic for such a huge organization to wrap the minds around! There definitely is room for easy improvement...hey maybe we need to just write it all up (flowcharts and all) and send it to 'em....

IV fee is unlocked once they review your DS-261. Most call after 1 week of submission to get it reviewed. They will tell you if its available to review. Once reviewed than IV fee will come up. Once it says PAID the DS-260 is available.

The AOS and IV packages you can send now since you paid the AOS fee. the rest you will be doing while you wait that 30 to 45 days. So send now.

AOS in one envelope with the bar-coded sheet, IV in it's own envelope with the bar coded sheet. Make two copies of the sheet from teh AOS portal. (They are the same).

Do you notice that people are getting checklist within 2 weeks of scan date? So why the heck is it taking 30 to 45 days then. hmmmm Canada is definitely on a roll.

Canada is on a roll but hasn't been scheduling interviews lately from the looks of it. Does anyone know what's up?

Canada hasn't started yet. Canada usually is one of the last embassies. So just hang on.
