Okay i am confused now.

So i called on 02/19/16 and rep told me that my scan date is as of 2/19 even though my docs arrived to NVC on 16th. Got an email on 02/20 saying that they have received my docs and have started the processing the paperwork, letter was dated 02/02.

I received another letter today dated 02/22 stating the same thing that they have received my docs? Did you guys received 2 letters via email? is it because of 2 package AOS & IV?

Did you send the AOS and IV packages separately? Did the email come from AskNVC? I only received one email and it came from NVCInquiry. I just figured they were finally responding to my question from weeks prior asking if they received my petition from USCIS.

Nope 1 package with 2 folders in it. It was sent out in one package.

Both of the emails came from NVCInquiry. I will just call them later on today when i get a chance

Oh ok. maybe that's why. I sent mine in just with binder clips for each packet then one big binder clip holding both stacks together.

No scan date. It will just go to CC. Generally 7 to 14 days with EP for Canada.

CC was 2/11 but on the Status tracker it still says 'at NVC' is this because Montreal is not scheduling appointments at this time, or is it possible it just hasn't been updated?

My I ask how you found out? Did you get an email? We weren't always prepared so we moved one step at once. I read the wiki info but I believe it's lacking clarifications. What do you suggest we do next to be ready (besides pics and originals for interview)?

Canada looks like they stopped at about CC 2/2, 2/3. It will say AT NVC until you get an interview.

Once you are scheduled and embassy is ready to receive your case file it will than be shipped out and you may see IN TRANSIT then once it arrives at embassy and logged in it will say READY and you will start seeing Case Status date.

Hopefully April scheduling will start for some end of this week. Just know Canada s usually one of the last embassies to get scheduled so maybe next week sometime foe your embassy.

I didn't do EP, but you can find out by calling or waiting on the e-mail.

You'll have plenty of time before the interview to get everything together. You'll need all originals since you are EP. Your P4 e-mail will let you know what you need as well.
