Wanted to start a topic on RFE cause I received so on January 2016. wanted to know how long does it take for Nebraska Service Center to work on the RFE and then get approved? How many are you now facing RFE?

They asked for one passport size picture of mu husband. No idea how long will it take and why would they even ask saying that only picture didnt meet the specifications when we both clicked from te same place. Im worried :( thinking again the size isnt correct though he clicked from official passport office.

I sent my RFE today 2-1-2016 with additional evidence of meetings such as passport stamps, flight / hotel receipts etc. Will update once I get a response.

I think they should have checked all the remaining documents and then issued RFE for what is pending. Verifying and approving is a few hour job but considering thousands of applications they have to process on daily basis it might take some time.

We got a RFE regarding our marriage certificate (we also had to send in our marriage license) and our petition was approved from Nebraska Service Center one week after they had recieved our reply. So it was fairly quick.

Now we're waiting on the hardcopy of the NOA 2 to arrive. Notification date via the USCIS website / e-mail was on the 5th but no letter yet :-(
