Is EAD and AP connected to biometrics for the i-485?

I got my EAD and AP approval notice, but I still haven't done my biometrics because they didn't mail me the letter.

I was planning on flying home next month but I just realised it's possible they won't issue me the card without biometrics.

Does anyone know for sure? I might just drive to the ASC on Monday and ask them to let me do the biometrics, but I'm worried they will turn me away and it's like an hour's drive.

4/21/2016 - Got green card! :) No immigration worries til 2018!

EAD usually (but not always) requires biometrics, but AP does not.

There's no way to directly contact an ASC I believe.

Looks like you are right! That is quite annoying, looks like I will just have to bite the bullet and drive all the way there -_-

I was going to go by myself tomorrow, but it's in a bad part of the city, so now my husband is asking me to wait until he can get a day off work to take me. Oh well hahaha

I wanted to update my thread in case this happens to anyone else and they search. I did my biometrics today, I just walked in. It went just fine. They are super nice over at Philadelphia's ASC. They said they get annoyed when people come in early but they don't mind my situation since I had no way of knowing when my appointment was!
