Im living overseas...so..will the USCIS send this to my Japanese address?? Ive been waiting about 12 days for my receipt (I-797).

I think not, you need to provide a USA address your "Domicile" address for them to send it to.

im confused...why would i have a US address if im currently living overseas for the past 5 years??

There is no mention of this that i had to include a us address except for line 18 on the I-130.

So, what am I to do??? Has anyone else been through this situation??

They will sent the NOA to the adddress you gave them on the application.

Even IF its a foreign address??? I wonder how it took other people who were forced to file overseas due to the change in policy this year..because we cant send to the embassy..but the Cali office. Has anyone filed OVERSEAS their i-130 and received their noa1 yet from a foreign country?? Im on day 13!!

Who can call?? does anyone know?? I heard i have to wait a month before i can call and ask

its sucks...we wanted to do DFC and its changed our plans to move back to the states by June.

do you have this number??? If so.. can you tell me what the USCIS cali number is since thats where i filed.

If i call, CAN i talk to someone who know about my case or will i just talk talking to someone who will tell me to just look at the website, all the details are there...
