As the other people said, she can leave but she cannot come back unless you start a new petition but spouse instead of a fiance which could take up to a year. The k1 visa is a one entry visa only...if you are asking this, it's because you still doesn't fully understand how the visa works...and that's a concern right there. I strongly suggest to read the guideline carefully and come back if you any other doubts. 60% of a successful immigration process, is understanding what are you doing.

You can always have a church wedding here in the US or wait until you file for Adjustment of status and apply for an advanced parole which is a temporary travel permit. It takes between 45-70 days to get it after you apply for the green card.

So my fiance and I will get married at city hall once our visa approves, can we leave the country immediately after to get married (church wedding) in her home country?

You can leave, but plan on starting the spousal visa process at that time as your new bride will not be allowed back in the USA without a spousal visa.

To avoid this, you need to complete AOS for your new wife.

60%? Where did you get that statistic?

I'm always shocked to read of people that waited months to get into the USA and then wants to bolt out immediately.

OP, please read the guides carefully. If you went through this whole process and you had to ask this question (sure please go ahead and ask) then that means that you haven't been paying great attention.

Good luck to you guys on your VisaJourney.

I don't think it as much that someone wants to leave the US immediately, but more to do with wanting to share a big event "marriage" with all the family, and making plans for that before they understand the immigration process. I know with us, my fiancé/wife is very close to her family and we wanted to share our joy with them as soon as possible, however we were very careful and did not start making plans for a trip before we had her GC. Then we went back to her family and had some wonderful celebrations with them.

Yes I understand that and many did just that.

Came into the country, got married within 90 days, filed the necessary paperwork and then jetted off to do another ceremony back at the home country.

There has been at least one couple that left without AOS and couldn't come back in immediately. The guides are there to be used and even the timeline will give you some sort of idea on when to expect approvals and loose plans can then be made.

Have a nice day.

What we did was we had a court wedding in the US a week after POE and then had a huge family wedding reception 3 weeks later. During that 3 week period, we were able to apply for a tourist visa for my husband's mom and she was able to come to the reception so at least she was able to celebrate with us. I don't know if that is an option for you.
