Today we received the RFE asking us to re-send the form I-864 (affidavit of Support for my stepdaughter) because the form was expired, we are ready to send it but we noticed that our I-485 that we sent was expired too!!! The problem is that they aren't requesting about this form... So if you sent the documents in DECEMBER can you please tell me the expiration form on your form because I saw one guy asking about the same thing... My form has an expiration date of 06/30/2015 with a rev date of 06/20/2013......

So I don't know what to do!!! Should attached the copy of the I-485 to the I-864 or just send what they're asking for...

ANYONE WITH SAME OR SIMILAR SITUATION?

Thanks Guys!

This is a government services date (the people that controls the form). Since they said nothing about the 485 in the RFE, don't worry about it. A good suggestion is to go to the USCIS website and download the latest forms rather than get them from here, or any other site. This ensures you use the latest form.

Good Luck!

hi wwawawa,

We also have the same thing, RFE due to expired form. About to send the i-864 the new version again. Do you have any updates on your case since then? And how long did it take to get your greencard after you sent your reply?

Thank you.
