If you don't do the medical for the interview your will receive a 221(g) advising you that your application is on hold till you can submit the completed medical. As far as SLEC closed on 2/25 that will be a problem because that will be the day they read his TB test. Call SLEC and see what you can do to work around this but I am sure they will say there is nothing they can do. This will not be a visa denial, just added more time to complete the process.

i thought the TB test will be read in the 2nd day that will be feb 24? so there is no chances my son can do the the interview by feb 26?cuz i read some who got 221g form because there medical is not yet done or delivered to the USEM..i dont know what to do.. so expensive to rebook flight.. :(:crying::crying:

If you complete the medical on the 22-23-24 you should be fine, the medical file may or may not arrive in time, that depends on if they allow your father to hand carry it or if SLEC sends it over to USEM. The holiday on the 25th is not an issue. Then interview on the 26th should be fine, your son may get issued a 221g for the medical and have a delay until it catches up with your son's case file, wont' know until the interview. Don't stress, everything will be fine in the end. You may end up waiting an extra week or two for the visa but... DON'T STRESS :);)

If they do the medical the 22-23-24 SLEC will read the TB test on the 24th, not the 25th.

Three days is plenty of time for your son to complete his medical, even if your son is between the ages of 2-14 where he is required to take the TB skin test.

If, for some reason, he doesn't complete his medical, he can still complete his interview. Then, he will get his visa after his medical file catches up with his embassy file.
