We have never visited Mexico, so can not give you any advice about Mexico specifically; however, my wife and I flew back to the Philippines last year after she received her 2-year conditional green card that had her married name.

Her Philippine passport had her maiden name.

We took along a copy of our marriage certificate as well. She encountered no problems whatsoever with entering and exiting the United States or the Philippines.

Hopefully someone that has traveled to Mexico can share their experiences with you.

Good luck and happy trip.

Thank you for your comment! I appreciate it?

Definitely take your marriage certificate. It's the only thing that ties your passport name to your green card name.

U.S. Officials will accept this. Most airlines will accept this. My passport has an extra last name that's not on my green card and I've never had an issue. Your ticket must match your passport.

I can't speak for Mexican officials.

Yes, you can visit Mexico with a Philippines passport in your maiden name and a green card in your married name. Make sure you take your marriage certificate with you, and make sure your passport's expiration date is more than 90 days after your departure from Mexico. You do not have to change your passport to your married name.

I've been traveling with my maiden name passport and the LPR card that has my legal married name and never ran into any trouble until Munich International. Now I'm just gonna carry my marriage certificate.
