The husband of 10 years who suddenly has decided that he and his wife needs to get an immigrant visa to the US to reunite with his dying mother... except that his wife of 10 years divorced him 4 months ago because she didn't want to go to the US, so he married someone new and couldn't remember things like... her name, or "their" correct address.

Also the rampant P and V visa abuse that was going on when we were there. No idea why they put up with it. Loads of them are falling apart old people who openly were bragging about how they are going to go on medicare and welfare the instant they show up and trading information on how to take advantage of food banks. Trump cannot be president soon enough. It's honestly disgusting.

P3 received and sent out like within 30 mins!!! all prep work done.. no surprises in P3 docs.

hmmm.. prob is Interview Mar 17th , P4 is gonna be late, just print out the generic P4 on the web?

Don't panic about the medical exams, the required documents in BJ and GZ are different.

Wherever you decide to have your medical, make sure with the medical center what size photo they need and how many...

J&Y, is P4 just a generic copy? no case specific info on it right?

We have P3, interview date.. but probably not receive P4 in time... so ok to print out generic P4 off the website and plus all other docs go see GZ medical center?

No... It's not generic. It is an email that contains your case info.

I think the email is case specific, but the P4 (notice) you bring to medical is the generic sheet right? Are we supposed to print out the email, or print out the attachment (info sheet - what to bring to interview)? much appreciated.

The P4 is the email, not that generic sheet with required documents listed on there.

We are just referrring the sheet as P4, because in the P4 (email) you are instructed to look for that generic sheet and prepare documents accordingly.

So NO, the generic sheet is NOT your P4, your P4 will be emailed to you and case specific.

So NO, the generic sheet is NOT your P4, your P4 will be emailed to you and case specific.

How long after P3 before we can expect to see P4, and do we need to bring the P4 paper with us to the interview?

Book the interview date Chris..... P4 should come in within 10-15 days

Mine is April 7 th now..

I'm fine with Mid April Dates. She doesn't want to go to the interview alone, so I will be going to China to stand outside the Embassy and spend a week with her. I have too many projects in March through the first week of April for some major hospital chains that I can't book time off until April 11th. Plus, we are still within 4 months of Submission, the time is well under our predicted estimate, so we are comfortable with the timeline right now.

2/18/2016- Letter from NVC saying they're forwarding to Guangzhou

3/4/2016- Received P3, returned it about a week later

3/22/2016- P4 email

5/12/16- Interview. Approved!

5/16/16- After a few days saying administrative processing, CEAC now says issued!

Additional snafu: my fiancé came over on his visa, but just a month later (and the day before we were going to get married) he had an emergency that necessitated him returning to China.  I contacted the Guangzhou consulate via their email system, provided the requested documents/proof, and he was granted a second interview for "reissuance."  He had to re-do the medical, redo the interview (bringing yet another copy of all of the things he had to bring the first time) and we were approved again!  He received what looked like a new visa in his passport, but the original 90 day countdown for marriage was still ticking.  He came back to the US and we got married right away!

4/11/17- submitted online service request for case out of normal processing time (over 6 months)

5/2/17- USCIS website updated to "My card is being produced!"

5/10/17- Green Card received
