Looks like my fiancee and I missed this batch, so frustrating.

Could someone let me know what calendar dates were opened?

Just trying to figure out what the next set of dates will be.

Thanks.

It looks like they did atleast the first half of March. Megaflex got March 3rd, and saw the 7th through the 9th available.

When I looked I saw the 14th through the 16th, but went to bed after that, I don't know if they did more or not.

I would have loved to book our appointment last night, but we have not received P3 yet. We have her police clearances, and all of the documents aside from the medical for the interview prepared. We just have no idea what needs to be mailed to the Embassy for P3 prior to the interview.

I saw Mar 14 to Mar 17th. There were like 4-6 slots available each spot. It was 1140pm USA TUE 2/16/16.

I clicked on Mar 17th, did the whole she bang... then saw the DS160 number was wrong. Cancelled repeat 3 more times, still wrong and then stopped as cannot cancel else pay money again.

I did that over 5 minutes... by the time I am done with 4th time, all appts were GONE.. LITERALLY GONE.. back to no appt screen.

I called USA on 10am WED 2/17/16 to ask why a wrong DS 160 is popping up... guess what.... !!??? EVERYONE PLEASE NOTE....

If you had previously applied on ustraveldocs.com for ANY visa, that DS160 number will auto populate on your K-1 appt letter. K-1 visa aaplicants need not worry about the DS160 number on the appt confirmation letter. Our prior experience with Guangzhou embassy tellls us otherwise. The last time we were there for another visa and I had typed a G to be a 6 on the DS160 field for the appointment setting screen, we were refused entry at US embassy.

So long story short, PLEASE CHECK YOUR DS160 number at bottom of appt confirmation. Then call in to USA hotline 703 665 1986, get it fixed and have them email you a NEW confirmation page with the RIGHT DS160 number at bottom or face possible entry refusal at GUANGZHOU US EMBASSY.

Thanks freddy, i'll keep an eye out as soon as we receive packet 3 and are able to schedule the interview. We don't want to schedule in advance because we don't know what documents need to be mailed off to the embassy before the interview takes place.

I see "First Available Appointment Is Monday March 14, 2016." on left hand side of my Dashboard at 4:45 PM China time. Swiped and called and got no appointments available. Confused.

Are you K-1? K-1s sees that and set the appts already.

I am proud of all those who gave this VJ forum a purpose... esp for the interview scheduling..... my phone and Ipad and PC were going off like crazy with so many VJ posting in this forum thread about appt being available yesterday.. every reply is an email in inbox for this thread... hence I was able to log in promptly and set a time.

Others, you may want to set only this thread to issue a email for every post. You will see the inbox spike when there are appt available and everyone reacts.

Got it! March 21st.

After speaking to a very friendly CGI Stanley agent on the phone, she was puzzled why she saw the earliest appointment notification but could not get an appointment for us. Finally, she thought the issue was our CGI email account was originally created for B1/B2 visa, which may prevent the system from scheduling an immigrant visa interview this time around (regardless how we filled out the application steps).

This agent "converted" the account to immigration visa, and we got through to the calendar within minutes.

OMG.. that is so lame... imagine the other 10,000 couples out there not knowing this....

21, 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, 30 all are opened up now.

Seriously, would it have been so difficult to release before/during the holiday... rather than dumping an entire month all at once? Jeez.
