My husband did his medical at St. Andrews Hospital in Kingston this morning and everything went well. He got there at about 7:15 am his appointment wasn't until 8 am. He was done with everything by 9:40 am. Which he was very happy about since the other reviews I've read have stated it's an all day process. At the end he was told results would be available for pickup on Wednesday Feb. 3rd, his interview is Friday Feb. 5th. Was a bit nervous about results being ready on time since our case was expedite and medical wasn't the full 10 days before interview. He ended up having to get 2 shots, which cost $7000 JMD and the actual medical cost $15240 JMD. They took blood, did a urine sample, X-ray, and then a physical exam. I'm just so happy that we are one step closer to him finally being able to join me here. I pray the interview will go smoothly, God Willing we won't have to live apart much longer. :)

Hi Nicky skyes, yes he brought his immunization record card with him... they ended up taking it from him saying he won't need it anymore and I believe gave him a copy and will be mailing me a copy of the updated shot record as well.

Thank you for your well wishes :), hoping your husband is able to have a smooth day there next week as well. My advice is to get there early so that he won't be subject to long waits I've heard happen there frequently.

Nicky there were some free gov clinics that do vaccines on certain days

depending where you are, I know Ocho Rios clinic used to do on certain Fri

and the comprehensive clinics use to give vaccine free also, that could save

you some money even if you could get 1 or 2 done.

OP good luck , stay positive

I went to a local clinic where I live and they said they don't give immunization shots. This is in maypen, clarendon. It would really save us a lot.and I try getting back the immunization card but the clinic I use to attend in Kingston has closed down. so i called the Kingston health department. they said I should give them a week.when I called back they told me that they couldn't find me in the system

Other than the instruction letter, what other paperwork is needed at the interview?

Hi Tryjahluv1101, here is a link to what to bring to interview...

http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/interview/applicant_interview.html

It's also a good idea for spouse to bring additional evidence of relationship just in case they ask. My husband brought copies and originals of all the documents I sent to NVC as well as photo album with pictures of us on various visits I made to see him. It's also important to bring the DS-260 confirmation page and original AOS form(864, 864a, or 864EZ) with your written signature on it.

At the interview all they asked my husband for was originals of police certificate, marriage license, and his birth certificate they didn't need anything else. But its a good idea to have everything else just in case.
