Hi all.

After the NOA2 , I’m aware that papers for the K-1 case are physically sent from the service centre to the NVC, and then some papers are physically sent from the NVC to London using DHL. I'm also under the impression that some of the papers are sent electronically too.

Once the diplomatic papers have been physically received and signed for by somebody at the embassy in London, I am unclear on how long the CEAC status takes to be updated. On CEAC, my case status is currently showing up as ‘In transit’ but I'm under the impression that my case has physically arrived into the embassy in London so I’m unsure how many days/weeks before CEAC will show as ‘Ready’.

Does anybody have any comments on timeframes for 'Ready'?

Simon.

Mine was 3 days.. I don't think it will be long!

Thanks :) That is great news that I shall use to quell my nerves and cling onto whilst ardently checking the website next week.
