How long does it typically take for a case to be transferred from one embassy to another? My case is being transferred from Algiers to Cairo.

Also, my case was originally supposed to go to Yemen but since the war broke out resulting in shutting down the US embassy in Sanaa, Yemen, I had to transfer my case to another embassy. Is my case considered a immigrant visa or nonimmigrant visa because I've heard so many different things.
