Hi,

I applied for my Wife for F2A visa, and following is the timeline:

Service Center : California Service Center Consulate : Marriage (if applicable): 2015-08-17 I-130 Sent : 2015-09-18 I-130 NOA1 : 2015-09-23 I-130 RFE : I-130 RFE Sent : I-130 Approved : 2016-01-19

Priority date is 2015-09-21

I received the Received I -797 Notice Approval. It says that Visa petition was forwarded to NVC and I need to allow 30 days before contacting NVC.

What should i do now? Anything I can do to expedite the process or just wait?
And also how much waiting time I am looking at till interview for my wife based on the priority date?

Any help appreciated. If you need any more information please feel free to ask.

Thanks.

They are currently processing petitions with a PD earlier than 15 JUN 2015. You'll need to wait a few months before NVC contacts you.

Also, for this category, there are visas available for those petitions with a PD earlier than 01 SEP 2014. So, you have about 1 year wait until an interview can be scheduled and a visa is available.
