The embassy will communicate with USCIS on the issue and have it extended to my knowledge. It happens from time to time. Continue to email them, include case number and alien number.

You have nothing to do with extending it. The embassy has so they automatically extend long as they are working on it. Have you already had interview or re you waiting for interview?

Have you verified with NVC to see that they sent off your petition. Some K1 petitions are selected for Administrative Processing at NVC.

Also are you getting an auto-response that your email is delivered? What is the email you are using Did you follow the instructions on the embassy website and the info page?

You don't pick up a packet from the embassy, packet 3,4 is in the form of an email. Check your spam folder.
Write you name/case number / packet 3 instructions not received/ in the subject line when you email them.
If still no answer after a week contact a senator to assist you in receiving the packet 3,4 email.
There is nothing to extend for you, they will automatically extend it at this phase.
