Hi folks, now I got a letter for interview on March after waited for few months.

They asked to bring some evidence that me and my husband have publicly held ourselves to be married, is not limited to :

1. Lease or mortgage agreements, cars & cars insurance ( joint ) ➡️ We don't have the mortgage and car agreements due to my credit score and I don't have a job. But we do have joint cars insurance with my name on it.

2. Life and health insurance policies ➡️ We do have health insurance but not life insurance and we already explained on the letter for RFE the reason we don't have life insurance

3. Documentation that exhibits a co-mingling of assets such as joint bank acc, joint cc etc ➡️ We do have both of them and my question is how do I print all the transactions that I used using my joint debit card because when I check online banking they don't show the person who use the card ( only the transaction detail ) but when I click on the details then I can see the person who used the card, do you think the bank would be able to print with the person who using the card?

4. Documents of joint major purchases or obligations ➡️ What is this specifically? Is it like a title for a car or something?

And they asks for income tax return for the past 3 years with copies of W-2 forms ➡️ We have all of them and will provide with the recent one

And 2 immigration photographs, 2x2" ➡️ is this only for me right?

And valid passport for 1 year or more ➡️ my passport is expired because I don't have attention to go traveling back to my country nor outside of USA and the other reason because I wanted to wait until I do the naturalization.

Do you think the interview will be in separate room with the spouse or will be held together?

Oh and they asked to bring the originals and photocopies of all documents. Should I bring something else outside from the list that they asked?

I think that's all for now that I can think of.

Thank you

1. Do you live with one of your parents? Friends? Get whomever you live with to write a letter stating your living situation. Many people don't have a mortgage or lease but still provide proof of joint (free) residence.

2. If you cannot print statements going back 2 years, get the bank to issue old statements. Submit every monthly statement. I don't think any bank account differentiates between users of debit and checking accounts.

3. You cannot provide evidence you do not have. The health insurance is all you can walk with.

4. Did you buy TV together? Furniture? Other electronics? Anything biggish?

Additional items. Do you have:

Joint memberships in any clubs? Gyms? Costco? Etc?

Joint utilities? Phone bills? Cable?

Mail addressed to both of you from family or friends?

Wills? Powers of attorney? They can be cheaply drafted online.

Evidence of trips taken together? Ticket stubs? Photos?

No one knows how your interview will be conducted. However interviewing you separately, a Stokes interview, is never a good sign.

Exactky what evidence did you originally send?

Good luck! :)

1. Do you live with one of your parents? Friends? Get whomever you live with to write a letter stating your living situation. Many people don't have a mortgage or lease but still provide proof of joint (free) residence. >>> No, we live together without any parents with us

2. If you cannot print statements going back 2 years, get the bank to issue old statements. Submit every monthly statement. I don't think any bank account differentiates between users of debit and checking accounts. >>> I can print all the statements but i am afraid that they'll asks or wanna see the person who used the debit card, maybe i'll asks the Boa if they can print with the cardholder name

3. You cannot provide evidence you do not have. The health insurance is all you can walk with.

4. Did you buy TV together? Furniture? Other electronics? Anything biggish? Yes, but it was using my husband's card, but we do had a lease agreement for furniture with my name on it

Additional items. Do you have:

Joint memberships in any clubs? Gyms? Costco? Etc? No only local grocery and there's no name on the card

Joint utilities? Phone bills? Cable? Yes and i already submitted all to them, so should i print and bring them on the interview?

Mail addressed to both of you from family or friends? Yes and already submitted all to them

Wills? Powers of attorney? They can be cheaply drafted online. >>> No we don't have it. And how to do the online and does it acquire for signature from a attorney? and witness?

Evidence of trips taken together? Ticket stubs? Photos? Yes, already submitted all to them, should i print them again and bring them on the interview?

No one knows how your interview will be conducted. However interviewing you separately, a Stokes interview, is never a good sign.

Exactky what evidence did you originally send? I already sent all of them above except the mortgage, life insurance or wills.

Thank you! :)

What kind of wills or Power of attorney are helpful in such cases?

Request a letter from the bank stating your joint account details. I did this along with the debit card transactions although my name is on the statement.

Print everything from the day you opened that joint account.

Do you have joint credit cards as well? If you have bring the statements with you as well.

Submit joint utilitiy bills, phone bills I know you submitted this but bring it with you.

Do you have credit lines together like best buy? Sam's club? Jewelers?? Macy's?

401k stating you as beneficiary?

I'm thinking out loud here..

Thank you Blooms, Tomorrow my husband will go to the bank and asking them if they can print all the transaction detail with the cardholders name on every transaction. and for CC statement, i already print and copied them because USCIS letter asked for originals & photocopies.

I kept some utility bills and i'll print out since the day my name on it

We don't have the 401K but my husband has retirement investment and today he got the print out from the company. We don't have Costco membership anymore because we barely shopping there, and like online purchased from Walmart, i printed the transaction detail from email. We bought some item from Bestbuy but we used debit card ( the joint account one )

I'm thinking to bring bulk of evidence ( that i already submitted ) and the update one such as the new joint file for the tax, and all the greeting cards from his mom, sis and our friends.

Oh how do you know, if you'll get together interview or the Stoke one? Does it say on the letter or you'll find out when you get there? Plus my passport already expired last July 2015 but i do have the state ID, do you think it'd be okay?
