We are awaiting for the medical on 2/4/16, and then the interview on 2/22/16.

However, it is our understanding that we must take an "appointment letter" that comes with packet 4 to both the medical as well as the interview.

We have never received anything from the Embassy.

We have all the required documentation though, with the exception of the appointment letter. The medial personnel stated that we must bring that to the interview, and of course the Embassy needs it as well.

We have the DS-160 confirmation as well as appointment confirmation (it was made online).

Do we really need anything else? Or do we need that physical form?

They refuse to speak with us over the phone, and insist we email, for which I normally receive no response.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

You can take your online confirmation of your appointment . When you send the Embassy the email, you need to include your DS-160 confirmation number and your KNG number.

They will accept your online confirmation of your appointment.

Myself too was waiting on the embassy and didn't realized I could have just taken my

appointment confirmation.

So they'll let you through the medical and the interview despite not having the letter from the Embassy?

Thanks. This is reassuring.

Yes. I don't know why Andrews won't just tell people that the confirmation page is acceptable. The embassy doesn't send out appointment letters, as interviews are self scheduled online now.

You can try emailing the Embassy to ask for an appontment letter. But you will be just fine without it.

All you need to bring to the medical exam is

Appointment letter

Passport

Four (4) passport size pictures

Exam and vaccination fees

Immunization cards showing prior vaccinations

Reading glasses (if used)

medications if you're on any

Medical forms can be downloaded online

*note* walk with extra cash like 30-50K

~God bless~

The interview letter is sent the NVC not the local embassy , how did you get the interview date? if you got it in the form of an email with an attachment , that is the the P4 or interview letter. Print that and take it to the medical. the embassy here does not send you anything it all comes from the nvc.

Well, I don't know if you're a K-1 or not....so, there's nothing really in that package from the embassy for you to take to Andrews medical. The DS-160 confirmation sheet is what they normally asked for at the medical.

I suggest you go down to the post office and ask for your mail ( that's what I did).

Not sure what country you're working with but this is not how a K1 visa works in Jamaica

Andrews doesn't want your DS160 confimation page. That gets emailed to the embassy with the barcode and a copy of passport bio page.

Andrews wants to see the ais.usvisa-info,com confirmation page that you can print once you set up an account, choose your payment method, and schedule your interview. You must print it, no one will mail it to you. A trip to the post office would prove futile.

I am a K1 (Jamaican). I just came to American in December 2015....I had done the exact thing that have I told you to do. My visa appointment was done online and is that same confirmation I used at Andrews.

DS 160 is with barcode is what u should take to the embassy.

~God bless~
