Hello all,

The cost of filing for the green card is about $1100.00 for all the forms. Can you send individual payments per form, one at a time so you don't get hit with a huge first payment? If yes does anyone know what order to send them in?

Thanks

The aos application is the expensive one and almost $1000 itself, so there is nothing much to split, all other applications are for free as long as you fill them together. you just need to pay extra for biometrics.. And they want you to pay everything at once..

eh - its a fee for the I-485 plus biometrics. biometrics is only 85 bucks.

other fees for other forms? the optional I-131 and I-765? Those fees are waived when included with the I-485.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

What Darnell said. The $1070 is for the I485 and biometrics only. If you file the I131 and I765 at the same time the fees for those are waived. I think if you have an active AOS case you can file the 131 and 765 anytime after the fact without additional fees, but I may be wrong. Most people put everything into one package and send it together.

Good Luck!

Thanks everybody. One other question please. Do we need to include form I-693 with the I-485 package. Or does that I-693 come later? She just had her medical in October 2015 in Manila. But I heard she may need the tdap vaccine included in the first filing.

Thanks so much again.
