Address Update Again

Hi all,

We submitted the change of address form for my husband (a permanent resident) and never received notification that it was received. I called the USCIS customer service line and they said they didnt have these records and we have to schedule an infopass appointment to even see if it was received. Call me crazy, but I think it's silly to have to take off from work so I can go see if they received our updated address form!

Has anyone else experienced this? I got the feeling they don't care much if permanent resident/green card holders keep their address updated--just those who are still going through the visa process itself.

05/24/06 - Biometrics letter became viewable online (appt scheduled for 06/07/16) - Day 14

05/27/16 - Received Biometrics letter in mail - Day 17

05/31/16 - Was denied walk-in fingerprints with just 1 person left in line. Milwaukee office, boo! - Day 21

06/07/16 - Biometrics completed in Milwaukee, WI - Day 28

12/21/16 - Passed Citizenship test/Interview was successful! - Day 197

Did you change your address online?

Yes we did, but we did not receive any notification or anything as soon as we submitted. Should we do it again?

No, the only notification you get is the screen saying the address change was accepted after you hit submit. There is nothing further for you to do. :)
