Welcome to the forum.

You can. However, you should probably familiarize yourself with this USCIS info on tips for forms assembly and mailing: https://www.uscis.gov/forms/forms-and-fees/general-tips-assembling-applications-mailing

We organized ours with different colored paper sheets.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

No need. The first thing that happens is, the petition is taken apart and put into the order that the office uses.

But I did do it that way to keep myself organized, up till the time I sent things to my attorney's office.

For all of my USCIS submissions, I attached cover letters that doubled as an index with the form and attachments listed in the order that I placed them. I also used different colored tabs to mark attachments so they can easily locate documents. I then used a heavy clip to hold the whole packet together.

At my Naturalization Interview, I saw my whole immigration file put together and the IO said that it was the most organized file she had ever seen :D It was so nice to see that they appreciated it! And I'm sure it helped with faster processing so being organized definitely helps!

You have given me some ideas. Congrats of the successful Naturalization interview. Pretty awesome. My fiancee, Rea, is kind of nervous about the future interview. I told her she had nothing to worry about because we would be prepared and organized for it.

Thanks,

Kyle

I used cover page for each requirement for our I-129F packet for easy review of the contents and attachments. When I received my Passport and Visa packet, they returned all the cover pages :). So they don't need it.. Nevertheless, the easier we make our packet easy for the adjudicators, the better for our chances of easy and fast review - that is my logic and it works for us. 14 working days approval from NOA1.

Hello, I used small paper clips with different color tabs. We had no issues. Even got to see them when I went with my fiancé to his interview. I also had cover sheet coinciding with numbers on the tabs. Yes, I probably went over board, but had no RFE's or issues. Blessings.
