Me and my fiance filed for K-1 visa last November 2015. But they are asking for additional evidence in our relationship. Me and my fiance are in a relationship for 7 years. We met on May 2008 and filed for fiance visa on 2010 but got denied because according to them, my fiance didn't show enough proof of income. His job was temporary and part time. My fiance went to visit me on May 2012. Are they strict about the 2 years of having met in person even if we already met twice?

yup. very strict. it's codified into 9FAM, so it's part of a set of laws without interpretation.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

They are very strict. Your fiancé will not be able to satisfy the RFE and his petition will be denied by the USCIS.

That's sad, because the instructions on the I-129F form are very clear. You must have met face to face within the past two years from the date the petition was filed.
