Oh My!!!! Now that's what I get for being blizzard homebound! I misread while scanning and assumed mom was in the US and fiance was in Jamaica. A bit of deja vu/projecting on my part. Thanks for clearing that up for me Lioness Deon. I always enjoy your finesse, expertise, and direct way of speaking while being respectful.

Lolol. No worries. I see so many rude and mean spirited comments on VJ lately. No need to talk to each other like that. We're all here to help and give support. 1 <3

What you are trying to do that not make any sense unless the actual motive is for MEDICAL CARE not just a visit.

I don't think you should bring in your K-1 process in this topic because it makes it even worse.

Your mum's disability requires recurring medical attention, at least at this point.

SO at this point, unless your mum is coming to visit for an emergency situation, she will probably get denied.

denials under 212 A4 (public charge) are common....it sounds like mom needs (or will need) some serious care, and of the responsibilities of a CO is to ensure as best they can that the American taxpayers aren't footing medical bills for non-citizens/non-LPRs...perhaps you should check on what some sort of medical insurance is available for her (I doubt the premiums will be cheap)..
