I was talking with now finace online since NOV 2015 and personaly met first time on Dec 14 2015

Jan 1 Fiance and her family applied for Tourist visa together for a April US 3 weeks vacation tour...this was their family decesion made prior to we started talking

Jan 17 we got Engaged

Jan 21 they had tourist visa interview and rejected

Now I am filing for Fiance visa.

Question is...although it was her family decision made prior to our engagement and they applied for tourist visa....can it hurt her now getting fiance visa?...does it look like she tried to get to US by getting tourist visa after engagement due to timing of interiew after engagment?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Aaron is correct. My fiancé applied twice for a tourist visa and was denied both times. They did bring it up during her K1 interview, but it seemed to have no impact, and she was approved.

Good Luck!

@lionessdeon

She is from India..we did formal ring ceremony and had family event with photos etc.

If this is the culture in India, that's ok. Just be very careful about photos that might seem as if you already got married.
