Hi! We're looking into filing the I-130, Petition for Alien Relative for my mom soon and I was wondering what documents we need.

According to the I-130 instructions, I only need to submit the following:

Proof of U.S. Citizenship:

* Naturalization Certificate, unexpired U.S. Passport

Documents to prove family relationship:

For mother:

* my Birth Certificate showing my name and my mother's name

(we're currently working on fixing my mom's birth certificate with the NSO since we just found out that her birth certificate is missing the first part of her first name which she has been using since she was a child and is on all of her current IDs and documents, including my birth certificate and my siblings' as well as my dad's death certificate)

Am I missing anything?

I also can't seem to find information about the IR-5: Parent of a U.S. Citizen who is at least 21 years old :(

I go to the Visas > Immigrant Visas > Visa Category > Immediate Relative page on the U.S. Embassy website at http://manila.usembassy.gov/imm-rel.html but the page is blank.

I would like to work on getting as many of the documents needed as we can for this stage as well.

Please help!
