Good morning,

I fully understand you can use the "old" I-751 form until 2/28/16. Starting 2/29/16 USCIS will only accept the 11/23/15 edition. USCIS will not accept editions dated 4/13/13 or earlier after 2/29/16. Yes that is a direct quote from the USCIS.gov web site. With that said my question is this:

I am ready to send the ROC package and am using the "old" I-751 form 4/11/13 edition. This form show it expires 4/30/15. Please note I got this form from the VisaJourney web site. Since my package is ready to go can I move forward with the form?

Thanks for looking and responding to my post.

God Bless

Hi Sukie,

I entered the US just 2 weeks before you and I'm submitting my ROC on 04/04/2016. I will also be using the new form. Apart from the physical characteristics hair color, etc. and the ELIS # is there anything else that the new form has we have to be careful of? I gave both of them a glance side by side and could really see much of a difference?

The only other thing is that Part 7 and Part 8 on the new form are confusing. In Part 7 you write the conditional permanent resident's name and sign. In Part 8 you write the USC/LPR spouse's name and sign, even though it says ASC appointment and the spouse doesn't have such an appointment.

Good to know newacct - (Just checked our 1-751 luckily we have filled out both these sections correctly!)
