Parents I-485 case status confusion

Good evening everyone,

I hope someone can help me out. My parents have applied for adjustment of status I-485. USCIS received their applications on November 17,2015. Today I checked the status page and it said "New card is being produced".

Here is my confusion: my mother has biometrics taken twice and recently received another appointment for biometrics.

Does this case status mean they have had their applications approved? If so, will they receive their green cards in the mail?

Also, why would they send another appointment for biometrics if her card is being produced?
