My husband is a US citizen and I am a 2 year conditional GC holder based on marriage with him.

This year we have to file for me to receive the 10 year green card...I believe it's still the same rule, we have to file a form 3 months prior to the second year anniversary of receiving the conditional GC, correct?

We are filling our taxes, he annually made 15 thousand and I have made something like 8 thousand dollars...

We both have medical/medicare I am unsure what is called but is free california health care for people with low income...we do not use any other government benefits.

My husband has used the healthcare once because of injuries and I never use it, even tho I have vision problems (I prob need glasses) I don't use cause I am scared it might affect the decision of my 10 year green card when the time comes....

Is the right and the best thing to mention in our taxes that we were covered by free medical?

Thank you in advance.

Removing conditions cares about seeing that you share finances and live together. A joint tax return shows that. Fraud marriages would not join their taxes, bank accounts, and lives is the thought. For ROC, it isn't about how much money you make or what you get free. They just want to see both names on a tax return, bank account, credit card, bills, leases, car insurance,....

I wouldn't explain the healthcare. They aren't auditing your benefits or how rich or poor you are. It's all about living together and sharing accounts.
