If you are in the USA, I would recommend you to get married here. Do not leave the US, it will be fine.

As stated, the most important question is:

Are you currently in your country or the US?

If you're in the US right now, at this present moment- you can adjust status.

If you are in your country right now, as you're reading this- it will be immigration fraud and misuse of a visa.

The difference is the intent- if you intend to stay and adjust status when you cross the US border on a visitor's visa, it is immigration fraud because you are not using your visa in the way it was given to you to use.

Say you were in the US and your fiance said "hey, let's go get married", you could get married and adjust status because when you crossed the border, you had no intention of staying and adjusting status- it was a decision made AFTER you crossed the border.

But as stated, if you are in your home country right now and reading this- to cross the border and adjust status to stay would be fraud because you're already showing intent to stay in the US.

05/03/2018- VISA APPROVAL!!!
05/14/2018- Visa issued
05/18/2018- Visa picked up
05/25/2018- HE'S HOME!!! 💙💙💙
