Dailymail came out with a bit on this today including some more bits from the book.

The link above from the blog is by an unnamed person (didn't google to see if Jackson is a real person), but this book seems good because it's by a real guy who's putting his name out there and seems unmotivated to lie about the situation.

Possibly: It is racist if the guy made it up to pick a bone with black people. But, if he experienced what he wrote, writing about it isn't racist.
