Actually, you're off point, AGAIN.

I'm talking about the fact you can sing songs with the N-word in them. And they make money. Are we going to blame PRESIDENT Obama for that? Because I'm pretty sure that's been going on way before he took office. That's not just black people buying into it. Like you said, you like Steady Mobbing. If the people in charge didn't want this vulgarity playing, it wouldn't get airtime or promotions. But since it's a money maker AND it degrades black people, it will continue.

Summary: You want to blame a black person. I get it. It's your thing(when it's not about Islam, it's a decent backup). And for some of it, I place it on us as well. We promote this f******. But don't think for a second people in charge couldn't change this overnight if they wanted too. Because I'll bet my life if I made a song called Crackers in California, it wouldn't make it off the demo floor. But N***** in Paris? No problem.

I don't care what someone sings in a rap song. Nice diversion though. It was the "rap and MLK" thing and I found it to be funny.

Now Focus for just a minute: We are talking about what is going on in a classroom. A teacher, a school administrator, a school board, a department that sets the standards for what is and is taught in a school. They do have control. They are responsible and own every single aspect of what goes on from the time the door opens until the time the students are dismissed for the day. Don't you think that of all places respect for one another should be a fundamental requirement or not?

long as you know i won't hold yer hand. you'll have to troll harder.

Thank you for that. I was concerned you know.

Then why don't you repeat what you say in here daily about Islam out loud. I'm curious to see what the reaction would be, since as you put it, no one would give two sticks about it.

You better stay right over there in diversion mode because you aren't getting anywhere in here either.

It's not a diversion. It ties directly into what we're talking about. You can't answer it, but that's okay. I knew you wouldn't. No one can say why it's allowed to put down black people on wax, but no other race is touched.

The answer is simple. THEY DON"T CARE! Unlike you, 1. I grew up going to school in the places you said you don't care to go, so I know first hand. 2. My mother taught for over 40 years in the public school system. So my source is pretty good. The teachers are overworked, underpaid, working in conditions that don't even make muster. Jails are in better shape. Add to that kids who are dealing with drug, gang riddled neighborhoods and there you have it.

Are you saying you agree with this?

No.

Instead of encouraging students to embrace challenges, strive for the best, whatsoever managements think it is better to be PC and lower the bar instead.

How is the country going to progress with declining standards like that.

Just responding to what you said. You did say that right? Let's see:

(laughing) You think that word is important to me? Maybe I'd "file a lawsuit" over that word? "OH someone offended me so I can't work, I'm disabled now, I need to file a claim"

Answer: I could add anything I want to my daily vocabulary here and nobody would give two sticks about it. I'm still puzzled, when I see it/hear it, why that word is still so common in the community.

Isn't this you?

works for the military.

public education has to be funded, good teachers need to be paid properly. the best place to start in inner city schools with overwhelming disciplinary issues is a better teacher to student ratio in the classroom.

The pupil/teacher ratio in public schools decreased over time from 26.9 students per teacher in 1955 to 17.9 in 1985, and then further declined to 15.3 in 2008. In the most recent years, the pupil/teacher ratios in 2010, 2011, and 2012 (all 16.0) were higher than the ratio in 2009 (15.4).

Yeah, that's gotta be the magical answer. LOL

i think that has been the approach for the past two or three decades. bootstrap theory doesn't work.

besides, this is about public education so getting into harvard or any other college is not even on most of these kids' radar.

Let's not forget, the state needs money! What are we going to do? Let's budget cut! Great, where do we start? Education, thuh! So underfunded schools are even more underfunded.

Well, it could create a sub-class of serfs or lower-caste manual labor workers, but ...

we'd have to remove the illegal aliens for this new class to participate in the USA ...
