B2 Visa

Hi All I have my Visa interview in 2 days and I really need some help as far as what proof I will require to prove ties to my home country. I have the following

1. I have a letter from my employer stating I have worked for the company for over 10 years and that I am the bookkeeper and store manager,

2. I have a letter of invitation from my Cousin who is sponsoring the trip. My salary is not great, so there is not a lot of money in my bank account,

3. I have been saving and have transferred $3100 to my paypal account for me to use when i get to the US,I have copies of my paypal statement

4. I have copies of my parents and sisters ID's

I will only be there for 4 weeks. My cousin is paying for my ticket. I dont own a house but have rented the same house for 9 years, I can get a letter for my landlord too.

What else could I take with me? Do i hand the the whole folder with all my documents in it or only if they request to look at them. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

Why are you bringing #4? Seems irrelevant to me.

#2 will not likely be considered. They'll want to see how YOU can pay for a trip.

I am taking # 4 as proof my family are here

My cousin is sponsoring the whole trip (my birthday present) that's why i have an invitation letter

clearly you have no idea how paypal works so allow me to explain, you can withdraw those funds into a bank account, which I will be doing into my cousins bank account , so no joke, maybe you should try reading up on it before you make a dumb remark like that

I believe I gave you 'proper' advice. Paypal fine, #1 is your best tie, #2 and #4 probably won't be considered.

Does the letter from your employer state what date you are due back at work? No point just raking something with your job title on it. They want to know that you are going back to the job, that you are required to return on x date.

Invitation is pointless. Your cousin should save her time, ink and paper.

$3000 sounds a lot if you are staying with a family member? How long are you going for? I barely spend $50 when I go to my husband's for a week. But we don't go out much.
