K1, AOS.... Is it ok to provide also a Co-support?

I was wondering if I send all my banking statements and all the proof of AOS, will it be a boost if I send AOS of my parents which could be considered as Co- Support? .... What's the most important paper to proof an AOS?... please let me know before I send them to her.

Unless you fall short of the poverty guidelines, you don't need a co sponsor. Having your parents as a backup just in case is a good idea. Bank statements, letter of employment, and tax returns are usually proof of income. Those, I would think, are the most important ones for the affidavit of support. THEN, if the consulate in Haiti decides you need a co sponsor, you will then have your parents fill out the affidavit of support. I wouldn't worry about it unless theirs is needed. Hope this helps!

Depending on the US embassy, they don't allow co sponsors for K-1, only for CR-1 Immigrant visas.

Don't provide anythiing that is not specifically asked for in the instructions. It irritates the processor when they have to sort through un-needed documents. The time to provide all the proofs of income is at the inerview, then you want bank statments and tax returns as well as an employment letter stating your job, income and that you are a full time employee in good standing, make sure you notarize it. Also Notarize your I-134.

All that being said, even if you have all the right doce, often they dont ask for them at the interview. Just be prepared, but only when you need to be.
