Hello everybody, this is my first post here and I have a question regarding the evidence I plan to submit to have my conditions removed (I am from Germany, married a US citizen in 2012 and have had my CR-1 for about 2 years now; we filed for removal of conditions and got an RFE).

The comments USCIS gave us were these -

- our tax documentation was incomplete (I had no clue what we submitted and my husband said the forms they say we failed to submit, the W2s, do not show anything regarding our marriage, which i why he did not think to submit them; even our attorney was very surprised they asked for the W2s) - we can obtain those though and send them, this should not be a problem.

- photos we sent were from our wedding day only (something my husband and I argued over for a long time because he did not understand why we needed more photos) - the problem is, we do not typically take photos of ourselves, so for the 3 years we have been married we have maybe a dozen photos that show both of us in them. The comments said we should send photos of us with friends and family - of those photos we have almost none, because my family obviously live in Germany, and his family consists of only his mother and his 3 adult children from a previous marriage, everyone else in his family, including his brother and dad, are deceased. We can take some with my mother-in-law and my step-children, and some with mutual friends... but there won't be much from the past 3 years....

- they want benefits statements from the entire 3 years we've been married (we only sent the most recent one, since we figured USCIS wanted to ascertain that we are *still* married after 3 years). My husband is unsure how to obtain the benefits statements from the previous years but hopefully our attorney can help us find out.

But here is my actual question:

Below these comments, USCIS lists more types of evidence we could submit (the usual lists that I'm sure everybody here is familiar with). Do we actually need to submit more evidence than what the comments specifically refer to? If so... there isn't much else we haven't submitted yet that we could still send. We do not have children because my husband already had 3 and does not want any more. We do not have a joint lease or mortage because my husband already owned our house before we started dating, and to put my name on the mortage would require refinancing the entire mortage (and we do not qualify for refinancing). We only have one joint loan (for my car) because his credit score is low (due to his previous divorce) and my credit history is too short. My name is not currently on our utility bill (my husband intends to add me now that we got an RFE, but this may come too late), because again, he already owned this house and the cell phone plan, internet etc before he met me and just added my cell phone to his plan but did not call around to have everyone add my name to the envelopes they send the bills in... :/ I do not even have his last name (again I intend to change it now, but we did not think this was going to be necessary to prove that we love each other).

We are very concerned that the quantity and perhaps quality of evidence we can still add to our evidence package might not convince USCIS.

And a final thought/question... until a few weeks ago, my husband worked for a company that writes and produces software for military aircraft. As such, he obviously held a rather high DOD security clearance, and since he was married to a foreign national, the NSA has on multiple occasions investigated us as a couple and individually. Does anybody think we could use this to our advantage and cite the fact that the NSA has investigated us over the duration of the entire marriage (at least at the beginning and again a few months ago), and surely if they had seen any reason to even suspect our marriage wasn't genuine, I would have found myself on a plane back to Germany before I could have said "I'm not spy...." Perhaps USCIS would accept the NSA as a credible source?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts and comments :)

Submitting tax transcripts would be better than actual copies of tax forms. You need to submit documents from entire length of marriage. You will most likely need affidavits to support the lack of financial co-mingling. Not sure about work background check unless you submit the copies of the report. They are not going to request the report from them.
