It's a fraud..Visiting once a while is not the requirement.

Keep on being naive. We will be here to help you to figure out when to determine the right time for her to file for citizenship.

Do you mean your wife goes once a year to visit your daughter in Pakistan?

Or is she living in Pakistan visiting you once a year?

Could answer both as yes.

But the latter is what he said.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Its not a fraud please dont misguide if you cannot help. Its okay to visit on Green Card but you cannot stay more than six months. There is no way you can reduce the wait time. Sorry about.

Huh

No, it's not ok to visit on a greencard. Permanent resident doesn't not mean permanent visitor

His wife is visiting once a year and its okay. You can check on the USCIS website as well.

I am not sure if you understood what they are saying. They are saying that the wife, a US permanent resident, is staying outside the US most of the time and only "visiting" the US briefly once a year. If you are saying that it's "okay", that's not true. A permanent resident must show that have maintained residence in the US; and while it is a subjective determination whether a person has maintained residence or not, there is no way that a repeated pattern of being outside the US almost the whole year every year indefinitely can be described as maintaining residence.

His wife visiting once a year to Pakistan thats what he is saying. Most of the time she is spending in US. Because you cannot stay more than 6 months out side of US on green card.

This is from the OP:

She applied on visit but got rejected. My wife visit us on green card.

You are wrong.

my understanding of the situation is different than your interpretation of it. from the op's first post

My wife has to come back and forth every year because she cannot leave my daughter alone in Pakistan. As a result, my kids who are with me has to live without the mother.

that in bold indicates to me that his wife is NOT spending much time in the usa.

My perception is different from you guys because i have real experience. I have spent nine months outside of US on green card because of my education and when i returned to US on Dec 2014 immigration officer stopped me at Abu dhabi airport and given me warning about it and told me next time i do this i have to surrender my green card. If his wife is doing that thing since 22nd May, 2010 till now she has to surrender her green card.

First she can keep her green card because she is okay. Now, she can lose her green card. Which is it?

I am wondering as well.

Wonder how she complies with the CA or perhaps they pay the fine.
