Hello good day, (sorry if this is in the wrong section) I was wondering where to start filing and scheduling an appointment for my wife I-130 here in Philippines or is it possible or not for me to do it in Manila. If I would be able to do it here in Philippines it would be easier for my wife and I. I already filled up my I-130, G-325a for both of us and I already organized the paper works needed for the process (marriage cert, etc.) Will I also need to fill up DS - 230? I tried contacting the US embassy in Manila through email but so far no response so I will call them by weds. Any kind of help will be great , thank you for your time. :joy::)

She doesn't need an appointment for the I-130. The I-130 is just a petition. It's not the visa. It's a request that the US citizen spouse makes for the wife/husband to be able to apply for an immigrant visa. When did you send the I-130? Has the petition been approved yet?

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

My sons AOS and IV bill paid March 23rd (status in progress)
My sons AOS and IV bill shows as paid March 26
My IV bill paid March 26
Both packages sent on March 26
My IV bill shows as paid on March 27th
CC on both cases March 30

Current record holder of fastest through the NVC :D

Medical exam in Stockholm April 13th
Interview on May 16th !!!
POE Anchorage July 12th!! 2012

July 2015 n-400 in the mail

September 2015, interview

I havent sent anything yet (only filled up pdf forms) since I really just started researching about it online and from what I have seen there are a lot of good and bad information mixed together that is why I thought I would try it in here.

Are you doing DCF?

direct consular filing? I was planning to do that if possible

You might be able to file directly, how long ha you lived in the Philippines with your wife? What visa are you on?
