Thanks everyone!!! Are we going to submit the I-134 to NVC along with the supporting documents? Or Me (Beneficiary) will only need it on my interview?

Ohhh I see! Thank you. I thought I would have need to send some documents to NVC as my friend is applying for spouse visa (IR-1) and she sent I-134 and supporting documents to NVC, I was thinking maybe I will be also need to do the same process as she is also currently living in Bahrain. I will just wait for 10-14 days then I will call or e-mail NVC to get my Bahrain case number therefore I can start completing my DS160.

For K1 visa you do not send any documents to NVC. Please follow the guides. Good Luck!

Did you try to call them and get your case number? VJ's members advised to call NVC 10-14 days after NOA2 is approved. Also, i asked my fiance (petitioner) to gather all the documents will be required soon once embassy contacted us. Today, by the helps of VJ members who responded all my questions, i made a CHECK LIST that my fiance (petitioner) needs to gather, like the I-134, pay stubs, letter from employment, w2, etc... I also made a checklist for what else I have to gather therefore i will not forget everything and it will be organize

Thanks! My fiance (petitioner) has a question. It says that the petitioner should submit I-134 form with supporting documents so one of the supporting documents is the letter of employment using letter head of the company where he work--showing his job title, annual salary, date of join, he work as full time job. So my fiance question is: IS IT OKEY NOT SUBMIT THAT LETTER OF EMPLOYMENT but he would rather make a copy of his OFFER LETTER, CONTRACT/AGREEMENT with the company that stated there his job, annual salary, position, etc...? Or is it really necessary to get that employment letter?

its just additional proof. if it shows on the petitioners itr or w2 that he meets poverty guidelines then the letter from employer won't be necessary. its not required but good to have. not sure about contracts because the manila k1 guide specifically mentions employment letter. dunno if Bahrain has a different guideline.

The Embassy letter you quoted (I have included a slice of important information that comes from the EL) and I note that it surely does say that the Employment Letter should be included to substantiate the I-134.

@GeorgeandGeorgia please include everything in this paragraph plus the other items that are listed on EL. Currently, they are not asking for this information during the interview BUT they say "You may also be asked to submit..... So we are recommending you have available with you at the interview until such time that they change the EL.

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form may be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You may also be asked to submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134. Download Form I-134 at http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis.
