Good evening. Join this particular thread kind of late...as most of you in here have already been scheduled for interviews. Congrats to you all.

In reference to the question about the spouse accompanying to the interview. S/He can accompany but will not be allowed into the embassy..only the person with the appointment. From my reading on here, if you should be asked when the last time the spouse visited, if you then say they are there, many have stated that they have been asked to go get the spouse and then they can enter. It has also been mentioned that it favors the case of the spouse can accompany. And as it was mentioned, you can send an inquiry to the Embassy to pose the question.

Best wishes on your upcoming interview date.

Also new to this thread. In regards to asking the embassy if your spouse can accompany you to the interview. How do I go about in asking? Should I call or just send an email to the embassy in Kingston? What is the email address that I can ask this question to when I receive my P4 (interview) email?

I guess you could call NVC...but I do know that you can send and inquiry to the Embassy via email. There is a format you use when you write them but please note that from everything that I have read, only the beneficiary is allowed inside the Embassy. I do know in any corespondance sent, you must have the case number in the subject line, in the body the petitioners name and date of birth, the beneficiary's name and date of birth and then your inquiry.

I thought Jamaica was one of the country that welcome spouses to the interview. I have a few friends that have been through the process and they said they went in with their spouse

Yes, I have also heard the same. That it will help in proving that the marriage is genuine. We intend on going together as we have nothing to hide and want to prove without any doubt that our love for each other is genuine.

Has anyone heard anything new in regards to interview schedules. The last one I heard was a December 24 C/C. After that it's been really quiet. They probably have all the slots filled.

I guess it would depend on the circumstances...clearly a minor couldn't go in by themselves. Try posting the question in the thread for case complete to interview-April thread. There are more knowledgeable people than me and might give you a more definitive answer.

Look here to see if there is any useful information regarding your question:

Also try posting in the case complete to interview thread. There are some people who just completed the interview process and can give you there experience.

Good luck to you guys

I intend to be there with bells on. Haven't seen my husband in a while. Been saving for this trip.

Saving also. Just worried about how far into the summer we will get the interview date. Really hoping to buy the ticket ASAP before it gets even more expensive. I want to book it immediately after getting the interview email.
