Saving also. Just worried about how far into the summer we will get the interview date. Really hoping to buy the ticket ASAP before it gets even more expensive. I want to book it immediately after getting the interview email.

Same here, still praying for a May interview. I really think we will be in the May batch.

Good evening. Join this particular thread kind of late...as most of you in here have already been scheduled for interviews. Congrats to you all.

In reference to the question about the spouse accompanying to the interview. S/He can accompany but will not be allowed into the embassy..only the person with the appointment. From my reading on here, if you should be asked when the last time the spouse visited, if you then say they are there, many have stated that they have been asked to go get the spouse and then they can enter. It has also been mentioned that it favors the case of the spouse can accompany. And as it was mentioned, you can send an inquiry to the Embassy to pose the question.

Best wishes on your upcoming interview date.

thanks. was told by a friend of mine that i can,he went without his spouse and was denied then return at a later date with her and got his visa

thanks. was told by a friend of mine that i can,he went without his spouse and was denied then return at a later date with her and got his visa

Was the denial based on the spouses absence of their inabilty to answer some of the questions asked? Nonetheless, I would encourage anyone to go as it could only strengthen the case.

And when in doubt you can contact the embassy via email. If you search consulate information here, I believe that there is email contact information listed. I believe the address is, KingstonIV@state.gov (you can double check that my doing the search). There is a specific format that needs to be used when emailing them (case number, petitioner name and DOB, beneficiary' s name and DOB).

Was the denial based on the spouses absence or their inabilty to answer some of the questions asked? Nonetheless, I would encourage anyone to go as it could only strengthen the case.

Interesting. I would definitely search the reviews on here to see if anyone indicated they accompanied and ask their experience and also reach out to the Embassy to ask the question. I have personally emailed to ask a question and was replied to within a reasonable time (like 3 or 4 days). Edited by shsl73

my cc date was November 25,2015. sexynicky I see that you're in the same category as me..F-1. So how long did you have to wait before you received your interview letter? Also my priority date is December 08,2008, according to this month's visa bulletin they are at September 22,2008. So I was wondering,do I have to wait until the visa bulletin reaches my exact priority date which is 12/2008 before they send out my interview letter or do they send it out when its near to your priority date?
