K1 FIANCE LEFT COUNTRY WITHOUT FILLING OUT I-131 FORM

My fiance left country after being here for only 22 days for a family emergency (mom's stroke). She never filled out an I-131 form.

I have been told we need to reapply for a new K1 visa. Are the any short cuts for approval? Are we supposed to fill out the same original paper work ? I would appreciate someone telling me what to do.

it's not enough for fill out the I-131, that AP must have been granted.

What was the date of her interview back in Manila IV? I ask, because sometimes a K-1 visa can be re-issued at the Manila IV Unit, if there's enough time on the visa range dates PLUS something else (I think it's the I-94 date but I am not certain).

(This dates are very close but not exact)

I believe her original appointment at the Embassy was around November 22.

She received her stamped passport on November 30.

She arrived in the States on December 11

She left the country on Jan 11

ok - there's a possibility for re-issue, but you have to chase it at the Manila IV Unit.

It's the weekend there now, no workers available to answer emails or phone calls, but

on Sunday Evening, circa 5 PM California Time, sling off an email into the Manila IV Unit.

He still refers to her as his fiancee and mentioned filing another K1, so most likely not.

OP, sorry to hear about your future MIL's stroke. Hoping for complete recovery for her. I know your fiancee is busy and all but you might save time if she goes to the embassy directly.
