hello

im american citizen and im staying here in manila for 28 years, just got married last october 2015. i was thinking to file the petition for my wife here in manila but i got a problem with my ARC. so we decided to file it in u.s. i got my ticket on first week on march this will be the first time im going to u.s.a... my question is it possible to file a CR-1 in u.s.a after a week i got in u.s or do i need a years to file the cr-1? i don't want to stay away from my wife for a long time

You should be able to providing you meet the affidavit of support guidelines or have a sponsor upon returning to the USA. A cr1 will be about a year for her to obtain

appreciate your prompt reply it will take 1 year process for cr1? or do i need to wait 1 year more to file the cr1? with the affidavit of support there will be no problem coz my mom is staying there
