Hello,

I have recently applied for i-130 in October 2015. This is my second marriage. I applied for my ex-spouse via i-130 as well. He divorced me after he became citizen. I reported to immigration officer by visiting office, but I was told that there is nothing that we could do about it anymore as there are billion of fraudulent cases. I even brought up this issue when I was called for his citizenship interview that he might divorce me after obtaining naturalization, but he still managed to get it.

I got married to a great guy in September in pakistan. I applied for his i-130 along with my blood test report, which verifies that I was 3-4 weeks pregnant. On October 23, i received notice of action. On November 7, 2015, I got another mail that "your form I-130 was transferred to another USCIS office, Potomac service center". I haven't receieved any postal mails after that, but when I checked the status online. I get the following message:

December 2, 2015, we received your Form I-130, Immigrant Petition for Relative, Fiance(E), or Orphan, Receipt Number xxxxxxxxxx, at your local office. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

CASE HISTORY:

11/09/2015 We transferred your Form I-130, Immigrant Petition for Relative, Fiance(E), or Orphan, to another USCIS office that now has jurisdiction over your case.

11/07/2015 Your Form I-130, Immigrant Petition for Relative, Fiance(E), or Orphan, was transferred to another USCIS office.

10/23/2015 We received your Form I-130, Immigrant Petition for Relative, Fiance(E), or Orphan.

NEXT STEPS:

We will prepare your case for officer review. If we need more information, we will notify you.

---

What I would like to know that have they sent my file due to overload? Or should I be expecting interview? When should I be hearing back? Anyone of you had this experience? What was the result?

Yeah cases get moved around to even out the workload.

I dobut you will get an interview, but there will be extra scrutiny due to the ex. How long between when the ex left and you married your current husband? Be sure to have lots of time spent with your husband, and that he knows all about the ex, because he will be asked about it at his interview.

My ex left me in June 2014, and I got official divorce papers in May, 2015. And I got married in sep, 2015. I stayed with my husband from sep to jan 16, 2016, which makes it 4 months of stay with him. My doctor had told me not to travel, so I ended up staying more with him :) thanks for your reply. What I want to know is that what will be the very next thing happening and how long would it take?

USCIS will review your I130 and will send your approval notice, after 2 weeks they will send your file to NVC, once NVC recieves it it will take 3-4 months of process. after that they will send your file to Pakistan for interview.
