Maybe I not fully understand the timeline on this site.

Is the DS-160 form needed for K1 visa? If so, why is it not on the VJ Timeline? If not, then why do other sites do, like: http://dennyeyberg.wix.com/filipino-am-visa#!usem-eligibility-letter/qyfhe

I-134 is mentioned here

http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide

but not on timeline.

I am a bit confused at this point on everything I should be doing even before the NOA2 letter arrives.

Thanks.

figure the ds-160 is packet 3,

and

the I-134 is submitted on interview day, so there's really not a usable timetick for it.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

DS 160 is the NOn-immigrant Visa application form that you have to fill-out after you have your NOA 2 and MNL number to proceed with the actual Visa application in the Philippines. I 1-34 is the affidavit of support that should be signed by the USC and will be brought by the beneficiary during the interview.

also, for Manila IV, Packet 3 and Packet 4 are different than most IV Units,

as

once you pay your visa fee and fill out the DS-160 stuff (packet 3 thingies) one does self-scheduled interview appointment (part of packet 4)

Have you studied Hank_ 's Handy-Dandy, Neeto-Keen (But Spiffy!) Guide to SuperFast K1 Visa Chasing for Manila IV? Easily findable when logged in from a PC, as it's in his signature area on each of his posts.. It's the Bible, Really, for Manila IV, but if'n yer using a handphone for stuff on VJ? You'll never see the link.
