Six weeks in line today. This is in the range of the other examples from Orlando, going back to Oct:

Jan 2w, 4d (I don't trust this. I think it was a typo on the "in-line" month. 4 more weeks would make it similar to the others)

Dec 6w, 2d

Oct 6w, 4d

5w, 0d

Hoping to hear something before the week is finished.

I think there is a good chance to hear something hopefully by the end of the week... I was anticipating 1 month and 2 weeks from time of fingerprints to interview letter based on what I've been tracking for Orlando.

I mis-counted the Oct. filer. It was really 3w, 4d, which would still be fast for Orlando (if there is no typo.)

I think we're right at that time - either this week or early next..

Do you get the date for your oath ceremony right after you pass the interview? I think I saw somewhere that you get a sheet of paper with the date of your oath ceremony after passing the interview?

The IO printed the Oath letter at his desk when my wife passed. It all depends on what your local office does. Some of them have it mailed on a later date. Some are able to get the oath done later that same day. Sometimes the IO needs to have the case reviewed further.

Assuming nothing changes in the next few weeks, at what point should I contact someone at USCIS? Also, when that time comes should I do Infopass or is there another process for people in my situation. Thanks!

I definitely feel your pain. I am moving to Italy in July for a job, and I'm hoping my wife has her interview in the first few days of June at the latest to be able to come over with our children at the same time as me. We'll see. I'm leaning towards her not being able to come at the same time as me though. There is so much to deal with even after a successful interview that is needed to be done in order to travel to Italy on a US Passport. I may just have her come over on her new Ukrainian Passport. I'll at least make sure she obtains her US Naturalization certificate before she leaves.

It's a little early to worry or think about calling anyone...

Three December 2015 applicants (including myself) were placed inline this week and last week.

A May 2015 applicant was placed inline this week.

Since you applied early and and your GC date is 05/05 and you were not placed inline on 04/05, then you can assume that your background check is taking slightly longer than average... don't worry, it's probably nothing at all to do with you. As you can see from the dates above, background checks can take a few months.

I would consider calling when it's been 4-6 months since you applied. I wouldn't bother with an Infopass until it's been over 6 months. None of these are firm guidelines, just recommendations so you don't waste your time.

I don't think you have anything to be concerned about at this point.
