Doesn't bother me. If it did, I would wait 2 years and apply using the 5 year requirement. I don't necessarily need my US citizenship status at this time. Had no issues leaving/entering the US using my Green card and one of my foreign passports.

It bothers me because I sent all that #### for AOS and ROC. If they can't keep all my files together, then they really are incompetent. I really hate that I have to resubmit every ###### thing I already sent.

I want my citizenship. We're considering living overseas, as well as the fact that the US passport is more powerful than my current one, on top of the fact that I want to petition for my brother to live in the US.

RIGHT? I have a copy of a traffic ticket that I don't even need to show, but just in case. I'm gathering all the other evidence, but I REALLY don't want to have to get all the goddamn bank statements again.

I'm gonna go in with a stack of things in a folder that they likely won't even look at >

Maybe I'm wrong but when I apply for citizenship 6 years ago, they sent me a yellow letter before the interview letter, asking for my passports when going for the interview. Are they still sending that Yellow Letter?

I'll just be glad when they have no more say (or interest) in our personal matters - income, residence, travels (as in length of trip as LPR vs. being able to travel at all, pre-AOS), etc.

My wife had a ton of stuff for her K-1 interview. They took the fresh letters of intent, the I-134 and my tax transcripts, nothing else was even looked at.

I really laughed about that, she worried and worked so hard putting everything together. I had to send three separate shipments as she decided she needed more stuff, all via Fedex, $$$. I swear she had so many of my original documents, I would have a hard time proving my identity here in the USA!

I know it's because I was born and raised here in the U.S. but bank statements are what I consider personal information, so I told my wife they only needed one or two recent months to show we're still together. They don't need a transaction by transaction account of our financial life. I guess that's what I mean by being tired of the intrusiveness of USCIS.

My husband isn't a fan of it either - which is why he didn't even want to use the credit card payment. "They have enough of our personal things, they don't need our credit card numbers to boot". He was nervous even about the folder where I had all these things, because god forbid if that folder went missing, that was a full dossier on us.

I sent a statement per quarter, but I really didn't want to send in the transactions pages, which is what they wanted to see for ROC.

My interview date is just 1 day shy after my 4th wedding anniversary.! Im so happy now that I hace a date.

My only concerned is that my husband lost his US naturalization certificate and when I applied for my citizenship I submitted a copy of his 2 US passports to proved he is an USC since a lot time ago. I was planning to do the same but in my notification letter doesn't mention US passport.
