I agree with you, next step after citizenship is bring my mom here, that's the only close family that I have, and the only reason to travel to Venezuela, other than arepas, empanadas and tequeños lol. Let see how fast Orlando moves

Wow!!! no doubt about it!! My only family there is just my grandparents (they come here often) and probably a few cousins and distant relatives... My parents, siblings and closed relative they mostly leave in Spain and few of them here in the US. I was actually one of the last ones moving overseas...I havent been back since I left in april 2012

Is horrible!!!! specially when I have to go Spain to visit my parents!! my dad has to pay almost 90 euros to get an official invitation for me, then mail it to me and I need to take that damn letter everywhere I go while in Europe. My husband and baby are process super fast plus no questions asked.

The last time we flew back from europe,my husband and baby passed through costumes in a blink while I had to stand with everyone else for almost 45 minutes. They had to wait for me in the car....I was so pissed

I don't understand you are a LPR, every time that I flight back from overseas I do the same line as Usa Citizens, unless that was changed recently, also last time that I travel with my ex-wife we pass through customs together

I had the same question in my head, my wife and I both went through the citizen line together when we returned a year ago, she's the green card holder.

Same here, although we have gone through the visitor lines when they are less crowded than the US Citizen/LPR lines.

I've never gone through the citizen line. My husband has to go in the LPR line with me because we're traveling together. LPR = fingerprinting and mugshot to make sure it's you.

I think each airport/POE is laid out differently. They can (and will) do the fingerprinting/mugshot stuff in the US Citizen/LPR lines in Orlando.

I know Miami airport is a "little" crazy, I try to avoid Miami like the first entry point for that reason, I have been flying thru Atlanta lastly

Yeah, Chicago splits USC from LPRs unless they're traveling together.

My (now-)wife even entered on her K1 (with me) in the USC/LPR lines in Orlando. Of course, afterwards we had to go to the secondary screening to process the envelope.

I'm throwing a bye bye USCIS party!! everyone is invited ahhahahahahah

Im for sure throwing a party lol. These are my two cents. One time I did Miami international. My wife is from here, and we were flying with my in laws too. I forgot to sign my affidavit returning. The guy (puerto Rican by his accent) said to me "are you f*^%# kidding me? I asked why. He says. You gotta sign this. And asked me to go to the end of the line. We are talking around 300 maybe. I begged people to let me go back to my spot. I've always been nervous going thru customs. I feel like they'll find a way to tell me no, you can't come in. Lol anyhow, it took my wife and her parents 15 minutes. It took me three and a half hours. Almost missed my flight here. I try to avoid Miami as much as I can. My citizenship gift will be a European trip. Can't wait to see what it feels like to actually feel free when you fly. Going to Canada, and not been able to board, and having people looking at you, was very humiliating. I'll put it on my calendar!!! Thanks for the invite lol. Edited by danoll4

Say, with the USCIS My Account thing, anybody else having password trouble? It seems like every time I try to log-in, it says the account is locked and forces me to change my password, and now I'm running out of passwords!

I have had this happen. I've changed passwords too many times!

You better hurry up, because now EU is thinking about require "additional documents" to American citizens traveling to Europe in response to Washington's restricter regulations imposed to some European citizens
