Thanks Tim. The fine was $100 for running a red light

That's cheap, here in Florida the fines start at $245 for red light running on a camera equipped intersection, and some cities are enforcing right turn too which is where the money is for the cities

My wife asked me to type this out so here we go. Her interview was scheduled for 9am. We were 15 minutes early. While we were waiting a few people came out of their interview with big smiles. Good

Hi guys, The interview was pretty easy, the actual time with the interviewer was about 10 minutes. He was very polite but stern. He commented on our organized our files were and said I made his life

I'm not sure they are even going to care. I would say if they do the clean record would suffice. You could also disclose your library fines however I'm thinking they wouldn't ask for proof they were paid. :)

I thought it was high. It is 150 ish in Idaho

I'm still waiting. It's been a month since my in-line notification, so I'll take it that my interview is going to be in June.

That's cheap, here in Florida the fines start at $245 for red light running on a camera equipped intersection, and some cities are enforcing right turn too which is where the money is for the cities

It may depend on whether you're in the city or the suburbs. I'm in the city, and $100 may not be very high, but a LOT of tickets are issued with the traffic cameras and that's how Chicago is trying to minimize the revenue gap vs the budget/pension law issues. In fact, there's a lawsuit going on right now trying to throw out all the red light and speeding camera tickets because they are so jacked up. Edited by akihon

12/21/2017 (Thursday) Check was cashed. NOA-1 (I-797C) was sent to me by USCIS via USPS.

12/26/2017 (Tuesday) NOA-1 (I-797C) was received.

06/07/2018 (Thursday) NOA-2 was APPROVED. 172 days.

06/11/2018 (Monday) NOA-2 was delivered by USPS to my home address.

06/22/2018 (Friday) Our case was sent to the U.S. Department of State (DOS) for visa processing (NVC)

Me too. In 4 days it will be 1 month since I'm in line.

California has a lot of immigrants and local offices are very busy.

When I had my biometrics it was 60 people in the room waiting in line.

Starting to come in fast and furious with the interview letters. Crossing fingers that my wife will be notified soon :)

Good luck to everyone in-line and has a interview so far!

I bet her status will update to interview scheduled tomorrow. :)

Wow. We went in and were turned away for early biometrics because they were busy. I bet there were 4 people in the waiting room. haha
