India does not recognize dual citizenship, but you are correct - the US will not make him renounce.

I always wondered how this works - how would India know that he has US citizenship? Is India somehow informed that he received US citizenship, and then automatically revokes his Indian citizenship? If he was to have an unexpired Indian passport, receive US citizenship, and try to travel to India (or elsewhere) on his Indian passport, would it pop up as invalid at customs entry and they would take the passport and destroy it?

I've been checking back and forth my status and I'm kind of disappointed...most people here got their "in line for interview" status less than a week after the biometrics. I know I'm an early filler but I'm less than a month away for my anniversary :/

Well, I know some people got the in line status right away but wait months for an interview appointment and some people wait weeks for a in line update just to get an interview appointment the same week.

It's funny cause I don't remember being so inpatient with my other proceses not even with my k1 visa, but now I'm like kid asking "are we there yet?" a thousand times. I guess that now we are so closed to be done with our immigration journey, I think is natural to be so inpatient.

The day I went in for my biometrics, there was an oath ceremony going on and then I saw all the participants plus family and friends waiving their flags, taking pictures, crying...I got all teary eye!! Is just a matter of time❤️❤️❤️

According to our chart no one whose GC Date is April & May got In Line status so far (I'm talking about early filers).

India wouldn't know. I'm also from a country that does not allow dual citizenship, but they wouldn't know unless I tell them or I slip up.
