Hi everyone, I'm a March filer from New York City and have been tracking my application in the March forum. But I have a question for previous filers that I'm hoping someone can help answer.

I received email notification today that my oath ceremony has been scheduled and the notice mailed out. It says "If you do not receive your notice by July 8, 2016, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice." Are they citing July 8 because that's exactly one month from the day of the email notification (do they normally give a date one month out for everyone to receive the notice?) or because my oath is likely on or after July 8? I'm curious as to what other oath notifications have said. I was really hoping to have my oath done before the end of June.

They said July 8 because it is one month from the date of the update. It has no relation to the date of your ceremony, which could be before then.

Here is my interview details.

My interview was scheduled today at 12:35 PM. I arrived at 12:00 PM it took just 3 minutes to pass checkpoint and check-in.

I surrendered my interview letter to Window 1 and was patiently waiting for my name to be called.

They called my name at 12:45. The immigration officer (white, male in his 50s) walk me to his room. I assume he wasn't just an immigration officer but he was a supervisor because 1 guy knocked the door and gave 1 N400 case for his review.

I spent around 30 minutes in his room and most of the time he was reviewing this application.

I did not swear to tell the truth (he didn't ask me for). It took for him just 10 minutes to ask me NO/YES questions (from Part 11 "Additional Information" of my N400 application) he confirmed that I still work at the company mentioned in my application confirmed my current address, confirmed my previous addresses, confirmed my cell phone number (I said my number was changed and he wrote down my new number), confirmed that I'm still single and never married, confirmed that I do not have any children.

I checked Name Change and he said San Jose office do not provide such service and I asked him to cross out this selection.

The only document he asked was my Green Card.

He did not ask for my foreign passport, my CA driver's license did not ask about trips abroad did not ask for my 2015 Tax Returns.

Civic questions were (exactly in the order he asked):

1. What do we show loyalty to when we say the Pledge of Allegiance (My answer was to the United States, to the flag)

2. Who vetoes Bills (The President)

3. What countries did US fight with during World War II (Japan, Italy, Germany)

4. What is an Amendment (a change to the Constitution)

5. What is the supreme law of the land (Constitution)

6. What is the capital of California (Sacramento)

I don't remember the sentence he asked me to write as a part of English test. I wrote it and said: "sorry my handwriting is terrible" (it really is).

Then he showed me Part 17 "Oath of Allegiance" and asked do I want to sign it? I said YES I DO then he asked again: "are you sure want to sign this?" I replied right away and said YES and I signed.

Then he gave me N-652 (Naturalization Interview Results) and 2 boxes were checked (I passed Civics and English Test and I have been recommended for Approval).

Then he put a HUGE blue stamp on the first page of my N400 application with APPROVED word on the stamp.

The he asked do I want to take part in Oath Ceremony on June 16, 2016. I said YES.

He started typing something and said ok we are done and walked me back to the entrance/exit door and asked to wait outside for Invitation for Naturalization Oath Ceremony.

I had been waiting for almost 40 minutes in the lobby and another IO gave me N-445 Notice of Naturalization Oath Ceremony with date, time and location of Oath Ceremony.

My Oath will be on June 16, 2016

Today was 1 funny thing. While waiting in the lobby 1 guy was talking with USCIS staff (I assume he had an infopass appointment).

They have been talking for about 30 minutes USCIS guy asked him several times what is his full name and date of birth guy replied and then USCIS officer said: "You have submitted your Form (he said the number but I don't remember it) THREE times. In one form you wrote your full name correctly but your date of birth was wrong, in the second application your date of birth was right but full name was wrong SO WHAT IS YOUR FULL NAME AND DATE OF BIRTH SIR???

Here is my interview details.

My interview was scheduled today at 12:35 PM. I arrived at 12:00 PM it took just 3 minutes to pass checkpoint and check-in.

I surrendered my interview letter to Window 1 and was patiently waiting for my name to be called.

They called my name at 12:45. The immigration officer (white, male in his 50s) walk me to his room. I assume he wasn't just an immigration officer but he was a supervisor because 1 guy knocked the door and gave 1 N400 case for his review.

I spent around 30 minutes in his room and most of the time he was reviewing this application.

I did not swear to tell the truth (he didn't ask me for). It took for him just 10 minutes to ask me NO/YES questions (from Part 11 "Additional Information" of my N400 application) he confirmed that I still work at the company mentioned in my application confirmed my current address, confirmed my previous addresses, confirmed my cell phone number (I said my number was changed and he wrote down my new number), confirmed that I'm still single and never married, confirmed that I do not have any children.

I checked Name Change and he said San Jose office do not provide such service and I asked him to cross out this selection.

The only document he asked was my Green Card.

He did not ask for my foreign passport, my CA driver's license did not ask about trips abroad did not ask for my 2015 Tax Returns.

Civic questions were (exactly in the order he asked):

1. What do we show loyalty to when we say the Pledge of Allegiance (My answer was to the United States, to the flag)

2. Who vetoes Bills (The President)

3. What countries did US fight with during World War II (Japan, Italy, Germany)

4. What is an Amendment (a change to the Constitution)

5. What is the supreme law of the land (Constitution)

6. What is the capital of California (Sacramento)

I don't remember the sentence he asked me to write as a part of English test. I wrote it and said: "sorry my handwriting is terrible" (it really is).

Then he showed me Part 17 "Oath of Allegiance" and asked do I want to sign it? I said YES I DO then he asked again: "are you sure want to sign this?" I replied right away and said YES and I signed.

Then he gave me N-652 (Naturalization Interview Results) and 2 boxes were checked (I passed Civics and English Test and I have been recommended for Approval).

Then he put a HUGE blue stamp on the first page of my N400 application with APPROVED word on the stamp.

The he asked do I want to take part in Oath Ceremony on June 16, 2016. I said YES.

He started typing something and said ok we are done and walked me back to the entrance/exit door and asked to wait outside for Invitation for Naturalization Oath Ceremony.

I had been waiting for almost 40 minutes in the lobby and another IO gave me N-445 Notice of Naturalization Oath Ceremony with date, time and location of Oath Ceremony.

My Oath will be on June 16, 2016

I was put inline for an interview last march 14 and until now I still haven't heard anything from uscis. My filed office is at Pittsburgh...Any advice on what to do? I tried calling but all they say is wait...I am getting impatient ;(
